Data Sharing

The LOCAT Group has an active standpoint for sharing the LOCAT data* (Ko Y, et al. J Korean Med Sci. 2017), which is in line with the requirement of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. As specified in the LOCAT Protocol, the LOCAT Group will share de-identified individual-participant data underlying the main LOCAT results. Other shared documents will include the Data Dictionary and LOCAT Protocol including Statistical Analysis Plan. The data and documents will be kept in a publicly available website and downloadable upon request. Those granted access to the LOCAT data must use the data responsibly in accordance with the policies of the LOCAT Group and with general research/publication ethics. Any publication based on LOCAT data must cite LOCAT as the source of data.
